USF anthropology students are using ground-penetrating radar to help locate objects under the surface at Weedon Island Preserve. The nature preserve is located along the western shore of Tampa Bay in Pinellas County. It is considered one of the most significant archaeological sites in Florida.

Men’s basketball nationally ranked for the first time in USF history

For the first time in program history, the University of South Florida men's basketball team is ranked in the AP Top 25 College Basketball Poll and the USA Today Coaches Poll. This follows back-to-back sellout crowds at the Yuengling Center and a 13-game winning streak – the second-longest active streak in the NCAA.
